Polkacrest have recently upgraded Mediwaste systems in conjunction with ISYS and Bartec to provide a more flexible operational service. Utilising new Dolphin 7900 terminals enabled a more rugged unit to be used. The system uses bar code labels or RF tags, Polkacrest opted to continue using bar code labels which gave them full flexibility.
All bin movements are tracked from collection point, treatment plant and bin return with weighing integration to platform scales.
This has been implemented across the Group including sites at Edmonton, Sevenoaks, Stafford, Enfield and Malmesbury.
